Dear Patient Reader,

“Keep your head above the ice. Keep swimming. Or, dive into the waters, who knows what you’ll find.”

The North Pole is a part of the Arctic polar region.“[It’s] also known as the Geographic North Pole or Terrestrial North Pole, [and] is the point in the Northern Hemisphere where the Earth’s axis of rotation meets its surface. [It’s] called the True North Pole to distinguish [it] from the Magnetic North Pole.”[1]

“The Arctic has been melting away, but is a strong and big part of our world. Watch the polar bear and her cubs going their way. Or the narwhals, like sea unicorns, swimming through the deep, cold waters of the Arctic. All of them, surviving.”

Keep well,
