Walking in shoes

In this short post about my cousin, Sofia Rego, I share a link to a video she featured in some time back, for Its Goa. I encourage you to take a moment out of your day to listen to what she has to say, not because she’s family but because the work she does is purpose-driven.

Through the video, you’ll learn that she’s light years more than a professional massage therapist but a multifaceted individual that hones her craft whether it be diving into the deep end of intuition or the art and science of healing.

The difficulties, challenges, joys, doubt, and sense of self-fulfilment of pursuing your life's purpose, living out what you were made to do is like wearing shoes.

When mingling with your purpose for the first time, it may feel like wearing old shoes; it fits easily and feels right. But for most, it feels uncomfortable, and leaves you feeling slightly awkward as you walk in your new pair of sneakers. Yet, this particular pair of shoes feels like its what you're supposed to wear, so you accept to break them in.

Now and then, I think of the admiration I have for Sofia, in her pursuit of living out her purpose by following her intuition. I think about how much it must take, to choose the nonconformist path, and I am grateful to a great lady and our grandmother, Nana, who instilled in her the courage to follow what Sofia felt was right.

All over the world, people like Sofia are filling out their quota and like Sofia, are serving out their purpose.

Though Sofia is based in Stockholm, Sweden, she offers online sessions that are accessible and effective. I encourage you to reach out to her by sending her a message on Facebook (link below) or on WhatsApp (+46 760527472) to plan a time.

Oftentimes, it’s easier to open up to someone who’s a complete stranger. You’ll be glad you did. However, if you’re uncertain about contacting her, reach out to me first if that makes you feel more comfortable. From there, I’d be happy to put you both in touch.

Much love,

Rebecca
