The Sunshine, the Storm, and the Rain

Paper notes to a fellow human, I – VIII

To a fellow human, V

In the moments where we ask our brains to go to sleep, because they and their ideas can wait till tomorrow’s sunshine – Makes me think of the sunshine, the storm, and the rain.

The sunshine; falling onto you, warming you, stirring your insides.

The storm; crafting itself inside of you, whirling and twirling, not quite sure how to get out. Yet, at the center of the storm or hurricane it is calm, still. The latter is probably one of my favourite words. If you asked me why I wouldn’t know.

The rain; pouring, spilling out of you to the nearest well, the nearest fountain.

Let the sunshine burn you and light up your day. Let the storm hurl and toss you. Let the rain soak your clothes and fill your eyes. They are buckets full of intent and emotion.
