I enjoy and love what I do, and this year has felt like the starting line of a lifelong marathon. When it comes to writing, the reality is that almost any form of text can be turned into a storytelling piece. It's what makes it so enticing.
In collaboration with Caudan Arts Centre, I've been able to bring together my affection for poetry and children into workshops. Carefully tailor-made to gently plunge youth into their own imagination, the different sessions and activities work as enablers that tap into the power of one’s creativity to create the life you want for yourself, whatever age you may be. From walking into your confidence to accepting your quirks with grace, writing poetry is about embracing the entirety of your being with humility.
